The Anti-Violence Campaign
The Violence Reduction Unit co-ordinates the Scottish Government / ACPOS led Anti-Violence Campaign, which runs annually in forces across Scotland. Formerly known as the Safer Scotland campaign, the campaign, which is led by the Anti-Violence Campaign Co-ordinator, focuses on enforcement and police responses to violence through both traditional and innovative techniques. It also encourages the sharing of best practice between forces and other partners.
The Anti-Violence Campaign is a key part of the Violence Reduction Unit’s aim of containing and managing violence as it occurs.
