VRU co-director wins top magazine award
VRU co-director Karyn McCluskey has won a top magazine award.
Karyn was nominated for the Community award in Red magazine's 2011 Hot Women Awards, and fought off stiff competition to win.
She was presented with her award in a ceremony held in central London yesterday (23 November).
Judging panel member Miriam Gonzalez Durantez, leading lawyer and wife of Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, said:
"Karyn is truly inspirational. She's one of the main leaders in the fight against gangs and has proves that things can be done differently."
